Mattie's Wish List

During the many days, weeks, and months Mattie spent as a patient in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital, he often dreamed of ways to make the PICU a much nicer place to be for all its' young patients and their families. He wished for private rooms where his family could sit comfortably by his side, extra blankets and pillows of a style and comfort of home, videos and games, colorful walls and whimsical art work, anything that could make an otherwise very difficult time in his life, and in the lives of those around him, a bit more endurable. Before Mattie passed away, he finalized a Wish List of all the things that he could think of with the help of other patients and families, that would make the PICU as comfortable as it could possibly be.
